AMRHA Coaching Level 2 Certification

Alberta Roller Hockey has always had a Level based coaching booklet and even provided classroom certifications, but up until 2018 we never had the ability to certify most coaches outside of the major centres. It seemed as there were so many obstacles to overcome to be able to certify the coaches with even a basic level 1 designation. But last year AMRHA’s development committee was able to create an online course, booklet and exam that can certify coaches with basic knowledge of the game in just a little over an hour. That same development committee will now be using the groundwork put forward from last season to finalize our Level 2 designation. This certification will include a 45 minute online instructional video with an exam that will take another 45 minutes to write. The coaches who complete this course will then be provided a 35-page booklet with a thorough explanation of Roller Hockey Strategies and Techniques with diagrams. Additional to these items Alberta Roller Hockey will be supplying the Level 1 and Level 2 coaches with online login and access to our Roller Hockey drill cache.

The level 2 Online Certification and Drill Cache will be available online April 22nd to all Coaches who have completed their Level 1 and/or 2 courses on
