One of the ways AMRHA can continue to help leagues in smaller communities grow their program is through more games and more diversity. The more times the association plays and the more variety given will encourage the players and parents to continue to play the sport. For 1 weekend in the roller hockey season AMRHA organizes teams that are similar in skill level to the SAT's with the nearest large member association. The cost for teams to participate in this one day event is just their player membership fees.
These are the criteria that smaller leagues need to meet in order to qualify for the program.
Advertising is a cost many SAT's cannot afford due to a limited numbers of participants. If those leagues are going to grow their enrolment it is crucial to be seen and heard in their community. That is why AMRHA devised the advertising and marketing grant. With this grant the SAT's with the help of AMRHA executive will figure out the best way to spend the grant money in their community.
